New Home Communities in Santa Fe

We see Esencia de Santa Fe as part of a new direction for new home communities in Santa Fe, where the land itself shapes how neighborhoods are formed. Set across 277 acres on the south side of the city, the community is organized around open space rather than built over it. With 141 acres preserved and woven into the design, the result is a setting where homes, trails, and natural terrain exist together rather than separately. This approach defines how we think about the modern community living in Santa Fe.

Grand Opening Introducing a Fully Planned Community Vision

The grand opening marks the official introduction of Esencia de Santa Fe, where we begin presenting homes within one of the most intentionally designed new home communities in Santa Fe. Instead of expanding outward in an unstructured way, the community follows a master plan that guides neighborhoods, parks, and open space into a unified layout. Buyers are stepping into the first phase of a long-range vision that prioritizes balance between development and preservation from the start.

Quick Move-In Homes Available at Launch

Quick move-in homes are part of the initial release, offering a way into new home communities in Santa Fe without waiting through full construction timelines. These homes are either completed or in final stages depending on builder schedules, allowing a more immediate transition into new construction living. Within Esencia, this creates an opportunity to experience the community as it opens, rather than waiting for future phases to arrive.

Builders Creating the Residential Framework

We are working with D.R. Horton and Pulte Homes to shape the residential offerings within Esencia de Santa Fe. Their floorplans range from approximately 1,557 to over 3,400 square feet, with both single- and two-story designs that reflect modern living needs. Their presence brings consistency and structure to early neighborhoods, helping define Esencia’s place among new home communities in Santa Fe built through coordinated planning and national builder experience.

Open Space as the Core of Community Design

Rather than treating open land as leftover space, Esencia integrates approximately 141 acres of preserved terrain directly into its layout. This creates continuous visual and physical connection to the high desert landscape throughout the community. Trails, neighborhoods, and parks are shaped around this preserved land, reinforcing a design approach where nature is not added later but built into the foundation of the community itself.

A Trail Network That Follows the Land

Approximately 4.5 miles of trails run through Esencia, designed to follow the natural contours of the landscape. These pathways connect neighborhoods, parks, and open space in a way that encourages walking and movement throughout the community. Instead of separating outdoor features from residential areas, the trail system ties them together, making the landscape part of daily living rather than a destination.

A South Santa Fe Location With Everyday Access

We positioned Esencia on Santa Fe’s south side to create balance between accessibility and space. The community sits within roughly a 20-minute drive of downtown Santa Fe while maintaining separation from higher-density urban areas. This allows residents to stay connected to cultural, dining, and employment centers while returning to a quieter residential environment that reflects the surrounding land.

A Community Designed to Expand Over Time

Esencia is structured as a phased master plan that will continue to grow as additional neighborhoods and amenities are introduced across the 277-acre site. Early homeowners entering during the grand opening are joining at the beginning of that progression. Quick move-in homes provide immediate access while the broader community continues to take shape according to the long-term vision guiding its development.
